Tristan Thomas, Professional Artist

Tristan Thomas is a contemporary professional artist inspired by shifts in perspective. Her work begins with curiosity—often sparked by discoveries in science, human potential, and the unseen forces that shape how we experience life. Rather than illustrating those ideas directly, she paints the moment they become felt: the instant something changes within, and a new way of seeing begins to take hold.

Her current body of work often follows a recurring subject—a woman in the process of becoming. Each painting captures a different stage of her journey as she moves toward a version of herself she senses already exists: grounded, clear, powerful, and fully aligned. These are not finished outcomes, but moments in motion—snapshots of growth, resistance, connection, and quiet transformation.

Through each piece, Tristan creates space for stillness and reflection, inviting viewers to slow down and recognize something familiar within themselves. Her work is rooted in calm, but carries an undercurrent of momentum—an energy that suggests change is not only possible, but already unfolding.

Perception shifts. Connection deepens. And something new begins to emerge.

Her work consists primarily of oil on canvas, with a focus on original pieces. Select works may incorporate mixed media as her process continues to evolve.

Tristan is also a self-published author of a sci-fi novella. Find "Anomalies" on Amazon.

"This world is filled with far too many wonderous things to ever run out of inspiration," ~ Tristan Thomas
